TARUN NAYAR:
Tarun Nayar is a musician, entrepreneur and community builder based in Vancouver, Canada. Trained formally in Indian Classical Music from the age of 7, Tarun's involvement in Vancouver's underground electronic music scene in his early 20s led to the formation of well-known Canadian band Delhi 2 Dublin in 2026. He has since led the band to Glastonbury (UK), Burning Man (US) and almost 2000 other club and festival gigs around the world. Tarun is passionate about creating opportunities in the arts for people of colour. In 2018 he founded 5X Festival, which is now Canada's largest South Asian youth event. After 6 years as the Executive Director, he now spearheads 5X's technology interests in partnership with Invoke, a digital products firm based in Vancouver. Together, they have built the Incrowd app, which strives to make arts and culture more accessible. Tarun is an executive board member of the Canadian Live Music Association, a member of FACTOR's Diversity and Inclusivity Committee, and the leader of the 2019-2022 Music BC Trade Missions to Mumbai.

Mariel Marshall is an interdisciplinary artist and tech entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the creative sector. As the co-founder of Tandem Experiences, she is invested in building tech that help connect people with extraordinary experiences, fostering a thriving arts and culture community. Mariel's expertise lies in AI-powered product development and decision support systems. Holding a BA from York University, she is also a graduate of the devised theatre specialization and a core member of the beloved immersive performance collective, bluemouth inc.
SEAN NUGENT:
Sean Nugent is the Marketing Manager at Side Door and brings experience from various corners of the music industry. A graduate of Humber College's Music Business program, Sean has worked on successful collaborations with SXSW, Folk Alliance International, and other notable organizations. He volunteers as a Juror for FACTOR, MusicNL, and the East Coast Music Association. Sean also freelances as a designer, specializing in artist website and album artwork.
